Agreement for Video Taping a Wedding & Reception
This agreement by and between ______________________, hereinafter referred to as BUYER and C.C. Video Productions, hereinafter referred to as PRODUCER, is the complete agreement between the parties.
Producer agrees to video tape a wedding to be held on _____________, 20__. The wedding will be held at ___________________________________________. The street address is: ___________________________________________________________________________
During the wedding ceremony, Producer will video tape with three professional 3 chip MiniDV cameras offering 500 lines of broadcast quality video resolution using two operators. One of the cameras will have a wireless microphone and the others will record ambient sound using the microphone from the camera. If the groom or the person presiding over the ceremony would rather not have a microphone clipped to them during the ceremony, then a directional microphone will be used instead of this microphone.Producer also agrees to video tape the reception to be held on the same date at _____________________________________________________.
The street address & phone number of the reception location is: ____________________________________________________________________.
During the reception, Producer will video tape with one camera. Producer will not only video tape the organized functions at the reception, but also try to get a brief interview from the bridal party and a few family members in attendance as well as an overview of the location and cover shots of the food & entertainment. During the reception, Producer will use a light to record the activities unless otherwise directed.
Editing: Producer agrees to digitally edit four individual projects:
- Wedding Ceremony
- Reception
- Photo Montage
- Highlight Video
Editing Styles: Unless otherwise instructed, the style of editing for most of the video will feature "classic dissolves" between each edit at a rate of 15 frames per dissolve. Other effects and graphics may be used to enhance the video production. Title pages will be placed at the beginning of the video, the beginning of the reception and the end of the video. Graphics used will be font type: Brush Script MT (white with black edge) over a still picture of the bride & groom pulled from a frame of the video unless otherwise noted here:_______________.
Photographs Used in the Video: There are several ways you can incorporate still pictures into your video production. Your package includes the use of up to 50 pictures. Pictures and music must be supplied by Buyer. The pictures can not be in any frame or photo album. Pictures should be numbered in the order in which Buyer wishes to have them displayed.
Photo Montage: The typical photo montage will have 16 pictures of the Bride, 16 pictures of the Groom (from childhood to adulthood) and 18 pictures of the bride and groom together during their courtship. The pictures are set to music. (Generally one song is used.) This can be edited prior to the wedding if you wish to have it available for the rehearsal dinner or the reception. Some couple prefer to use pictures from their honeymoon instead of the early year pictures.
Another way to incorporate photographs in to the video very effectively is to super-impose the pictures over the couples first dance, the Father/Daughter dance and the Mother/Son dance.
Please indicate how you would like your photographs to be integrated in the video production. ______________________________________________________________________.
Highlight Video: Producer also agrees to create a short highlight video featuring highlights of the wedding and the reception. Buyer will supply the music for this portion of the video. The selection will be: _______________________. If no music is provided, then the music of the first dance will be used.
Duplication: Buyer will receive 3 DVD-r copies of the entire production.
