Our
standard turn around time for duplication is 3-5
days depending on demand. Replication takes
about 10 additional business days after artwork
approval. The
difference between DVD duplication and DVD
replication is in the media. DVD
Duplication starts with buying blank DVD-r discs or
DVD+r discs. The DVD blanks are then inserted
into a DVD Burner and the data or movie is
"Burned" on to the disc. Replication
starts with making a "Stamper" or
"Glass Master" which is used to form hot
plastic into a disc with your data molded into the
disc. The replication process is a bit more
time consuming but provides a 100% compatible disc
where as duplication or "Burning" DVD-r or
DVD+r discs has an compatibility rate of 93%.
This means that some DVD players might read the
DVD-r as "Invalid Disc" or "No DVD
Inserted" or "DVD Not Compatible". |
